What we have been doing recently 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️
On February 19th Kevin and Ged were at Stockport Homes offices to deliver a presentation advertising RR to staff from several local housing groups .
We were joined by our good friends Forward LGBT+ Stockport , who also gave a fabulous talk about the work they do locally .
The event was held as part of LGBT+ History Month.

Rainbow Roofs joined HouseProud North at Stockport Pride on June 1st . We battled our way through gusty winds and heavy rain and even made it on stage to promote our groups .

We enjoyed a fabulous three days at Housing 25 in Manchester as Lili , Kevin and Ged all had the pleasure of speaking on various panels about neurodiversity , customer and community engagement and trans homelessness.
On July 5th we joined Peaks and Plains for a wonderful day at Macc Pride
Ged joined HouseProud North co-chair Martin on stage at Macc Pride.
July 30th
Kevin and Ged were back at ForHousing as the Eccles based housing provider hosted a Rainbow Roofs session for their customers . Jackelyn joined us online as we received a wonderfully warm welcome from Michelle and Jacquie .

August 23rd.
We had a fabulous day at Manchester Pride 2025.
September 9th
Martin , Kevin and Ged were at Manchester Council's LGBTQ+ Power In Community Summit , held at QueerLit in Manchester . A day long event which featured keynote speakers , a panel discussion and breakout workshops .

We would like to extend a a really big welcome to our newest addition Alicia , who has joined Rainbow Roofs as a facilitator.
November 20th
Ged attended the Stockport LGBT+ Network vigil to mark Transgender Day of Remembrance, held at Stockroom in central Stockport.
In addition to representing Rainbow Roofs at the event, Ged also read Becky Leonard-Dixons poem " Pride" , which has now become a tradition at Stockports TDOR.
We extend our thanks to Becky for giving permission to use her poem .
